Back to the Manbeard I Giveaway I Elase Medical Spas

I have to be honest, I wasn't sure that I really wanted to tell you all about my manbeard. Especially after trying so hard to hide it from everyone for so long. I wasn't sure what to expect when I hit publish on that manbeard post. I tend to laugh when I am nervous and I am so glad that you could all laugh about it with me!

I am just so excited to be doing the laser hair removal for this manbeard of mine that I could squeal {insert squeal}. I had another laser hair treatment over at Elase and am definitely feeling a difference in the manbeard. While is it still patchy, the hairs definitely feel thinner and finer and less pokey. I find myself shaving much less and even when I do, it is in fewer and more random places than I had to before. In this case, maybe more patchy is a good thing!
Again, my appointment was literally less than five minutes. You really are just in and out. I was running errands and didn't have time for Dr. Numb to set in so this time around I definitely felt the heat a bit more. But it was nothing uncomfortable. It is so fast and with the cool air blowing on you, it didn't seem bad at all. After it is finished, it is a tiny bit red but it quickly goes away and you can put aloe vera on it if you want to.
After two treatments, I am definitely noticing a difference. My manbeard isn't gone but it is already a definite improvement. The ladies at Elase do a great job and are so nice and welcoming every single time I go in. So excited to be getting rid of this unwanted hair and I think I will move on to my armpits next!
Are you ready for this, because this is amazing! {get ready to squeal!} Elase wants to help you get rid of your unwanted hair too so they are giving one of my readers (so lucky!) a complete Underarm Laser Hair Removal Membership (an 18-month membership, a $630 value). I hope you are squealing because I am just thinking about how awesome that is.

This giveaway will be open through midnight MST, Saturday, July 27, 2013. It is good for either the Sugarhouse or Draper Elase Medical Spas. You must be a new client of Elase to win.  a Rafflecopter giveaway

Brio Tuscan Grille at Fashion Place: Review & Giveaway {ENDED}

I am always on the lookout for a great date night spot. I had the opportunity to go to Brio Tuscan Grille at Fashion Place and it is definitely a restaurant I will be taking The Gent for an upcoming date night.
Brio Tuscan Grille is on the west side of Fashion Place Mall, just north of H&M. Easy to find and easy to get to. Right off I-215.
I loved the ambience of Brio from the minute I walked in the door. While there is plenty of parking around the mall, I was also surprised to know that they offer free valet parking after 5:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays (how great is that!).
I was able to try many of the different appetizers and must say that the appetizers and desserts alone have me wanting to go back. The Sliced Steak Bruchetta (shown above) was definitely one of my favorites. There is just something about steak and gorgonzola that I love. I also enjoyed the Spicy Shrimp & Eggplant appetizer.
Any chance I get for a wedge salad I take it and the Bistecca Insalata was crisp and fresh with just the right amount of gorgonzola and a creamy parmesan dressing.
While I enjoyed my Lobster & Shrimp Fettucine, I have to admit that it was a close second to Emily's Pasta Alla Vodka (shown below).

We finished the evening with some fantastic desserts. By far my favorite has to be the Torta Di Cioccolata (shown above). Considering I am not a huge chocolate fan, it should tell you just how good it was but I also liked the Marscapone Cheesecake.
While Brio has a fantastic, cozy atmostphere and delicious food, it wasn't somewhere that I initially thought of taking my kids. That was until they brought pizza dough to our table. At Brio, they allow the kids to create their own pizza by rolling out the pizza dough.
Once the kids have it in the shape they want, they can go over to the pizza counter where their pizza will be topped with the toppings of their choice and they can sit and watch it cook in the wood burning oven or go back to their table where their server will bring it to them.
In addition to allowing the kids to make their own pizza, Brio offers some great summer specials including Kids Eat Free (Tuesdays after 4 p.m. with the purchase of an adult entree), Tuscan Tasters for just $3.95 (Mon-Fri, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. & 9 p.m. to close), as well as Live Music Wednesdays out on the terrace (from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.).
I am looking forward to going back to Brio Tuscan Grille and you can bet that steak bruchetta will be the first thing I order.
I would love for one of my readers to enjoy Brio as well. Brio Tuscan Grille would like to give one of my readers a $25 gift certificate. Lunch date?...family night?...date night?...for whatever you want to use it for.

To enter, just leave me a comment below telling me why you would love to go to Brio Tuscan Grille.

ENDED: Drum Roll, Please!

Me (which why am I turned the wrong way?), Kim, and Mrs. R on the red carpet at the Goldsmith Jeweler Event
Vanessa, Evonne, Me, Mrs. R and Amber

Me, Kim & Mrs. R trying to get a sneak peek of the goods in the safe (take note of our Pandora bracelets).

The entire group of ladies who I had a great time getting to know many of them and I look forward to following their blogs.

Since yesterday, I have been wearing and staring at my Pandora bracelet. Which says a lot since I have been working in my PJ's all day long and really had no reason to have jewelry on.
Really, I've just been dreaming all day about adding more charms to it.

I also can't help but notice my wedding ring which Goldsmith cleaned for me last night. It is truly a cleaning process, not like most other jewelers who just stick it in a little cleaning container, shake it up a bit and call it clean. This puppy is super duper clean, shiny, and all of the scratches from the last 13 years buffed out. It looks brand new. There are no longer remnants of the bread I made a week ago or the sugar cookies we made a month ago stuck in the crevaces.
Gross, I know. I really should take my ring off for those things but I never remember until it is already stuck in the cracks, then what's the point.

Goldsmith Jewelers is serious about their work, they are serious about their customers and they seriously love giving things away. In addition to the free pearl necklaces for every single one of you...I am giving away a $50 gift certificate to Goldsmith Jewelers which can be used towards anything at their store.

To enter the giveaway, just leave me a comment (be sure to leave me your email address so that I can contact the winner). It's as easy as that. Remember that Goldsmith Jewelers is in Provo (totally worth the drive even if you are in Salt Lake) and you will need to go there to redeem it. The giveaway will close on Tuesday, May 5th at 12:00 noon. The winner will be announced later that afternoon and the gift certificate will be emailed to them so they can use it immediately, just in time for Mother's Day (good through May 9th).

And for those who like to go above and beyond,
you can earn additional entries (after first leaving a comment) by:

1) Blogging about my giveaway
Make sure to include a link to my blog and also leave a comment for me with a link to your post.
2 extra entries

2) Twitter about my giveaway, Goldsmith Jewelers or Pandora
Be sure to include @leishakelsey so I will see it
1 extra entry

3) Follow my blog
1 extra entry

4) Follow me on Twitter
see the link to the bottom of my sidebar
1 extra entry

5) Blog or post a message on Facebook about my family's Hope to Adopt
with a link to our adoption profile at www.joinourfamily.blogspot.com
5 extra entries for this one (for real!)

That's a total of 11 possible entries per person.
No anonymous entries please.

I know exactly which two charms I would get if I had a $50 gift certificate. What would you get?

Pandora Goodness

Last night I attended a Red Carpet event at Goldsmith Jewelers and have to say, I have fallen in love with the store. My good friend, Mrs. R has always told me how much she loves it and now I can see why. The store has a fabulous layout, a large production area (which I really loved learning about) and of course fabulous jewelry which I adored trying on; not to mention watches that cost more than my car that I, in all honesty, wouldn't mind having. We can all dream, right. :-) To top it off, the owner, Wil, and his son Trevor are just hilarious and Matt, who is just too cute (ask for him if you go in) loves what he does and you can just tell.

Now, let's talk Pandora. Oh my, how I love it. Goldsmith Jewelers is an exclusive dealer of the Pandora jewelry line.

I am wearing my very own Pandora bracelet and adore it!
(So much so that I don't know if I'll take it off and I also don't know how long I can truly go without heading back to Goldsmith Jewelers to add a few more beads to it.)

I love it for a few reasons. First, I love how the beads screw on so that you can keep them where you want them on the bracelet. I also love how easy the clasp is to take on and off. I love the variety of beads and how you can mix and match whatever you like to make your own style of bracelet. I think the danglies are my favorite. The beads start at just $25 and are handmade from sterling silver and/or 14K gold and some are even accented with precious stones. And last but not least, I love that this bracelet makes the perfect gift that you can personalize and also keep adding to for any special occasion. A charm for my birthday, a few charms for Mother's Day, a charm just because, a few charms for Christmas (Gent, I hope you are paying attention).
Goldsmith Jewelers is such a fabulous place that I thought you should all get a chance to visit them.

If you aren't in Provo, believe me, it is worth the drive!

They were kind enough to give all of my readers a free strand of pearls (a $99 value). All you have to do is print this coupon off (while you are at it, print one for your mom, your sister, and your friend because you know they will all want to come with you) and make a lunch date out of it all while getting a free strand of pearls.

What could be better.

It's just in time for Mother's Day.
(Just make sure you go this week as the offer goes through Saturday, May 9th.)

Also, be sure to stay tuned for a fabulous Goldsmith Jeweler giveaway coming tomorrow.
